Hi. It writes directly onto the discs, using a special recorder,
where you install the cd/dvd upside down.

If you're having to place a label onto the CD, I can offer you a free MS
Word template, with VBA macros for accessibility, which prints on to
such labels sold by Avery. It also prints labels for the CD jewel case,
and can optionally add a barcode for talking barcode readers.
It's downsides are that you have to buy these labels (from office depot
or other sources), they come 2 sets per sheet so you have to print 2 CDs
worth at once, and then you have to afix the label onto the CD (which
may be tricky). You also have to won some version of Word.
I don't know how this compares to the software you're asking about?
