first i have windows 7 and vista on two different removible drives so vista is not getting messed up. the only thing i find better right now is that wineyes and openbook co exist now with my hp 6210 all in one printer.
with vista i can not scan documents with w e still loaded.
i get an error that openbook could not communicate with the scanner.
with w e unloaded this does not happen.
for me if i try to download my lotto numbers with lotto pro 2008 it turns off my internet connection and the only way i can get it back is to turn everything off(router, broadband modem and computer and reboot. this is the only way i can get the connection back. the network diagnostic can not fix the problem.

maybe if everyone complained useing the windows feedback option they would put the classic look back. give us the choice to at least download the windows mail so we can continue to access email the way we do now with xp and vista. this is gone too. i do not like the fact that i would have to buy something like outlook to replace windows mail which is not included with win 7. i do not want to have to use live mail or web mail. outlok express and windows mail were so much easier to use then web mail. i do not want to setup another yahoo account to be able to retrieve my comcast.net mail with there email software. i do not want to use cloud computing where there is no software on your computer. where you will eventually be charged by the minute every time you use it, where there is no garantee that it would be accessable every time the upgrade there software each month. the fact that most of your data would be stored on line where anyone can hack it.
no thanks.
think about that. if we don't fight this it is going to happen. bill gates has stated this a number of times.

As many people have already noted there is no way to switch back to the
classic interface buy buy so long and go away.

Hi John,

I was just looking for away to switch to classic start menu, I cannot find
the setting to do it, so I am not sure if it is possible anymore.

And after I reverted to the microsoft high deffinition audio driver instead
of realtek's, it is very very very responsive. I am missing the
auto-complete on the start menu, but I'm sure that gw-micro will fix this.

Take care. Hope this helps.
