Just open the start menu, tab once and arrow to computer. Press the
context key and choose the option to add the computer icon to the
desktop. this will work.
Many thanks.

Hi all! As I have mentioned in previous posts, I have a Dell XPS M1530
laptop. I have an external usb keyboard connected to it.
I would like my laptop to be configured with a desktop layout just like
my desktop computer's layout. I keep forgetting to mention that my
desktop originally had XP Media Center on it, but one of my nephews
helped me upgrade it to Vista Home Premium edition.
Is there an easier way to place the icon for computer on my laptop
without having to move a physical mouse and finding a blank spot on the
desktop. My laptop didn't come with a physical mouse. Do I need one or
can I use Window-eyes 7.01 to place certain icons on the laptop's
desktop using the numb pad? Thanks.
Mike M.
