Hi. You can install an add-on to do this. By default Firefox does not do
this. The name of the add-on I recommend is called PopupSound. It plays
a sound when a popup is blocked, when a new page loads, and when a file
is done downloading.
To get this, and hundreds more add-ons, from firefox, press alt-t and
then arrow to add-ons. Now tab until extensions is displayed. Now right
arrow to get add-ons. Now press tab and you will be at a search box. In
this search box type popupsound and press enter. Note that popupsound is
all one word. Now press tab to the list box of items it found. Use up or
down arrows to get to the popupsound add-on and then press tab to the
add button. Press enter and the popupsound add-on will be downloaded and
installed. You will get a message telling you to restart Firefox. Go
ahead and you should be good to go.

Firefox seems to work reasonable well. I used this quite a bit, simply cause
internet explorer did it quite well.
When I pressed enter on a link, internet explorer use to make a click sound.
Any idea why firefox doesn't do this?
It's kind of a nice audible que to have.
