Hi. I recommend the Window Manager script instead. With this script, you
have full control over what actually gets maximized. While the Window
Maximizer script is good in its own right, it automatically assumes you
want everything under the sun maximized and this is not always met with
good results as seen in this thread.

My friend has solved his AVG problem by uninstalling the Window

However, if a maximized window was causing the problem, he could also
have solved it by adding that window to the list of exclusions in the
Window Maximizer dialogue.
