Alfred,

I can only tell, wat happens with my Internet explorer 7 sometimes.

The find function sometimes is not working. I press ctrl-shift-f, type
something, enter, but nothing happend.
In these situations, I can alt-tab to the find-function-dialogue. This happens
when the page is still loading and I press ctrl-shift-f.
When I wait until the page is loaded and press ctrl-shift-f, there is no
problem.
Maybe this can help you.

Regards, Marten

Aaron and the list,

I spoke with Aaron on the phone regarding my problem. Maybe someone can help
me fix this. Out of the blue, I discovered that when I try to use the find
function of Window eyes 7.01 when only in Internet Explorer 7.0. It will not
work. I hear Window eyes say Find then Edit box, but when I finish typing in
my
search string and try to tab to the forward or reverse find buttons. I only
hear the links of the page and not any of the controls of the Window eyes Find
dialog box. Aaron asked me to do a screen shot of the problem when I do it the
next time, but then I ran across the problem of nothing happening when I
press the key that Aaron said would be my screen shot key. Aaron said that it
is the next key to the right of the F-12 function key. So either I have a non
functioning screen shot key, or I am pressing the wrong key. So has anyone
else run across this problem or have any ideas of how I can fix this. And by
the way, I thought I had fixed the problem after I tried to do a Window eyes
find command(control-shift F) with the Internet Explorer window maximized, for
during that session. The find command did work. However, after closing
Internet Explorer and attempting the find command again the next time I needed
to
go on the web. I discovered that the find command now does not work with the
Internet Explorer window maximized or in its normal size. Please help for
the Find function is extremely useful when surfing web pages. And finally, I
also uninstalled Window eyes then rebooted my computer and then installed
Window eyes once to see if maybe that would help and no it did not change
anything. Thanks for any help.

Regards,

Al Taitague
