The package installed fine, and then your setup program started. After it attempted to install, I got a 740 error that said c:\program files\we4java\installwe4java.exe requires elevation, and then it crapped out. So, I manually started the file, and then it was fine. Basically, to get everything clicking again, I am probably just going to have to upgrade the package to make everything 0.9.15. That should allow everything to trigger at the right times instead of the current package which had some ini/xml versions at 0.9.14 and others at 0.9.13 and updating the setup.exe alone isn't getting the job done for those who actually do need the change. Note to self. Always update each of the version locations before posting a new package. If you want to try to force the setup.exe to run for 0.9.14, go to your user\defaults directory in your Window-Eyes install folder and look for the file named WE4JavaConfig.ini. If you find this file, delete it. All it has in it is the latest version of the setup.exe file it "thought" it installed. If you then restart Window-Eyes, it should trigger the setup.exe. I went to update today, and removed 0.9.9. If I try to install 0.9.14, the wepm starts, but your install never starts, so c:\program files\we4java is never created. So, I went back and installed 0.9.9. Then, I attempted to upgrade from 0.9.9 to 0.9.14, and the package says it installs, I see it in Script Manager, but when I run any Java apps, 0.9.9 is what I hear running. This makes me think there are two problems: 1. 0.9.14 does not install everything as advertised 2. Updating from 0.9.9 does not work Unfortunately, the only way I can get it to work is to install 0.9.9 first, and then attempt to upgrade to 0.9.14. Ideas? This should get the xml, setup.exe, Script Central, and java code version references all to the same value of 0.9.14. __________ Information from ESET NOD32 Antivirus, version of virus signature database 3862 (20090217) __________ The message was checked by ESET NOD32 Antivirus. http://www.eset.com __________ Information from ESET NOD32 Antivirus, version of virus signature database 3862 (20090217) __________ The message was checked by ESET NOD32 Antivirus. http://www.eset.com __________ Information from ESET NOD32 Antivirus, version of virus signature database 3862 (20090217) __________ The message was checked by ESET NOD32 Antivirus. http://www.eset.com If you reply to this message it will be delivered to the original sender only.
