Enhanced find will not work in browse mode. So this is not the fix. The
fix to your original problem of control-shift-f not working is to remove
the Google tool bar as this interferes with the Window-Eyes find command.

Are you in browse mode when you apply control shift f?
Do you have the enhanced find script on your system? I can't remember
its proper name but it's the script that adds all those options to the
wineyes find dielogue
