Thank you for your suggest vic. I need to edit one document and Braille it.
And, of course, I am using a new version of my brailing software and that is
working exactly right either. UG

Hello Heidi:

If all you are interested in is the content, may I suggest saving the
document as plain text then using Word or Word Pad to open the .TXT
file. This will strip out most of the stuff. You will lose the
formatting, that is if there is any due to the fact that the document
was scanned, but it might get you over the hump.

Subject: reading in Word 2007

Hello,
I scanned a book using open book in to word 2003 at work. I sent the
document to my home e-mail address. ON my computer at home I have
office
2007, which has been installed for only a brief time. I am trying to
read
this document which is over 100 pages in word 2007. I have tried
control
shift r, which doesn't work to read anything on the page. I tried alt
0,
which does work to read, not only the displayed page, but also all of
the
graphics. There are two things about this that are driving me crazy.
The
first is that I really don't want to read all the graphics at the top of
the
page. Secondly, it only reads the displayed page, which of course is
not
even an entered print page.

Can anyone tell me what to do to read a continual document in 2007.

I am using @# 7.01 on an XP machine.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Also, the sooner the
better as
I need to read this to facilitate a discussion group at work early this
week. Also, if this is the case, that four hour training I need to
prepare
using a scanned in syllabus is going to be equally unbearable.

Please help!

Heidi
