If all you want to do is turn MP3 files into an audio CD that can be played in most CD players, then using the CD Writing Wizard in Windows works just fine.
I do suggest using the properties of your CD drive to slow down the writing speed though. Some older players or lesser quality ones don't do so well if something is written at a higher speed. I suggest not going higher than 8X.
