Hi,

I have owned two Asus netbooks and I disabled the touch pad on both in the
control panel. I only owned the Asus 900 for a few weeks. I didn't like
the short battery life and didn't like that the number key row was moved to
the left on the 900. I gave that machine to my Grandkids and bought the
newer Asus 1000H which I absolutely love! It is a little heavier, but it
has 5 hours of battery life with WIFI turned on and lots of storage room
with the 80 gig hard drive.

fn-key-f3 will disable the mouse. However you will have to do this each
time you reboot. One of the many strikes I have against this netbook
*smile*.
