HI there, one correction. 64 bit has nothing to do with biometric scanning. You can do finger print scanning on a 32 bit system as good as a 64 bit system. major reasons for 64 bit: 1. ram, 64bit systems allow for a lot more ram. not to get to technical, but a 32 bit system only allows for up to 4gb of ram, because of the nature of 32bit memory addressing 2. mathematical calculations 64bit can perform certain mathematical calculations much faster than 32 bit, floating point and such are like calculations there are others, but those are the top two I can think of. I wish we would stop this thread. please read archives as we have covered this subject over and over. even gwmicro has stated reasons why 64 bit is better in some ways to 32bit. If you don't need it, don't keep saying "I don't know why people want 64bit so much when I don't need it." Just remember when you need or want something, and you get the same answer how upsetting it can be to you. We all have our reasons for needing or wanting something, and they all are important. It is coming, and there is nothing we can do about when it will arrive. As GW has stated "It will come when it comes." as a software developer myself, this is the dead line that is given when we don't want to pressure ourselves, and make the public angry with us. Take Care.

Well, maybe my thought processes could use that 64 bit upgrade, too. Regards, Cheree Heppe If you reply to this message it will be delivered to the original sender only.
