Be alert to the fact that many anti pieces of anti virus software can
actually interfere with the running of Window-Eyes as some are very
resource intensive. NOD32 is probably the least resource intensive
anti virus package I've seen, it only has a footprint of 30MB because
its written in very afficient assembly code so it takes up little
memory and has very little overhead so given all that I can certainly
see why GW Micro recommends it. The functions NOD32 performs in the
background are also not found on too many Anti Virus packages, NOD32
will run code in the background whilst you're doing other tasks to
determine whether the code is malicious or not so as you can see, the
protection offered here is slick, transparent and second to none, the
really great thing is that NOD32 does in my view exactly what a good
anti virus application should do, it does what its designed to do
without you knowing its there, the only time you'll see it is if it
needs to warn you about something.
