Dear listers: First, thanks to those who responded concerning my not being able to play dvd videos because a "compatible DVD decoder is not installed on your computer." After upgrading to my XP machine Window-Eyes 7.01, I installed the codecs package from K-lite and then tried again to play videos. Now, instead of the decoder message, I get the message: "Windows Media Player cannot play DVD video. Lower screen resolution and color quality settings." Is anyone familiar with this? How can I satisfy both Windows Media Player and Window-Eyes? One wants me to lower the settings, and the other, to increase the settings. What should I try? Thanks. Regards: Ted Larson
