Hi,

My mailboxes files are in the Eudora directory, so I can't help you with
that issue. But I can tell you that ever since I switched to WE 6.0, it
has not worked as well with Eudora as used to be the case. I called
WindowEyes Tech Support and asked them for help with the issue you
described, i.e., when you're typing in your message and you make a
change or correction, WE stops reading the message aloud, and the only
way to read what you've written is to go out of the program and then
come back in again. That's what I do most of the time. I go back to
the desk top and then return to the message I'm writing, soI can read
what I've written. Each time I make a change, I have to leave Eudora,
and then come back again in order to read what I've been typing.

When I called the folks at tech support, they said they were aware of
the problem but had no fixes. They said they would be working on it,
but it's been going on for a year or more, so I guess they either
haven't gotten to it or haven't found a solution.

Occasionally, for no apparent reason that I can figure out, this problem
goes away, but then it reappears again.

Sorry to have so few answers for your questions.
Penny

Subject: eudora

Hi all,

Thanks to all of you who addressed my problem of my eudora trash box
not working. I have closed all windows and expanded them and
rebooted and all that good stuff.Somebody mentioned finding my
trash.toc file and deleting it. I can't seem to find those .toc and
another file that goes with mailboxes. I find the eudora folder with
sixty some files in it but not those. Right now I have developed
another problem. Whe;n writing an email or answering one, I can't
read what it's writing so I can't correct any of my sloppy finger
mistakes. Sorry about doing this on the windoweyes list because I
doubt that it is a wineyes fault. Does anybody know where I can find
the .toc files?
Thanks.
