I think the other thing that maybe happening is that some folks use their
work e-mail accounts for gw Micro messages. I know at my job, they really
want us to use the out of office attendant when we are not going to be in.
I, personally, usually forget, and of course use a different e-mail account
for this list.

Robert's comment is right on target. My inbox is full of weather warnings
from the Midwest and Florida talking about severe weather; and I listened
to KFGO, via streaming, from Fargo talking about a real flood (that of the
Red River) destroying individual lives and property.
And need I say anything about economies domestically and across the Globe
wiping out savings, jobs, financial security and emotional tranquility for
many.
Put all this on the table, and out of office msgs, while a nusiance of
sorts, hardly are worth mentioning.
If troublesome, examine them carefully and create a mail filter to screen
them out.
Otherwise, hit the delete key.
These "out of office" msgs are used with good intention usually by cassual
internet email users who had no reason to consider the problems with lists
and such that they will cause.
Believe me, when they get back to that office, they will be flooded with
complaints and will have learned their proverbial lesson.

It isn't the length of time I spend in my quiet time, though I usually take
an hour,
but there is a carry-over of the activity of prayer, the attitude of prayer,
that
marks the rest of the day.
