you do not have to turn off w e to change the pointers from the control
panel. you just have to unload w e after you have made the changes. then the
new settings will load.

For months I have been trying to change the mouse scheme to a larger, easier
to see mouse scheme in two different Vista Home Premium computers but I
could not. Post the question on another list and found that if I turn off
WE, I then can change the scheme.
