Many apologies to the list I've solved the problem, it was because I had turned off scripting. turning it back on again has got things working the way they should.

Subject: changes to set files not being saved

Hi all, I've just realised that changes I am making to set files, IE changing the keyboard voice to words rather than characters, are not being saved. This is happening in both the set file for Outlook Express and Word.

I don't think I'm missing something. I'm hitting control backslash to get into the WE control panel, then going to the keyboard menu, voice, selecting words only, then opening the file menu and hitting S twice.

Although it takes immediate effect, If I have to shut WE down for some reason or restart the PC the changes I have made are lost.

Does anyone have any ideas?
Cheers
Yusuf
