I try not to veer off from asking questions about products I already use--in my case, Window Eyes.
But here, I would just offer a comment: As my ailing Bookport ends its life, I would love to have a replacement that would be a book reader and offer the same kind of notetaking capabilities of the Bookport while adding reading of digital talking books. The Bookport was remarkable for its flexibility and price point and GW could do worse than to look at the venerable Bookport's feature set. And, controlling my microwave, that's a great idea!
