Paulette,
The message I posted a few days ago about routing to the sample link,
right clicking, and selecting play from the context menu does provide a
decent solution to the problem. In fact, I just spoke with another user
a few minutes ago who confirmed that does indeed work.
The catch is that this trick only works in Firefox, and apparently not
in IE. That's just another reason, in my opinion, to have both browsers
installed, and to be familiar with both, as they each have the potential
to provide varying degrees of access, as demonstrated by this particular
topic.

Erin,
Would you please let us know how to listen to samples of books on
Audible.com using windows explorer? I long for the good old days when we
could just click on the sample link and listen to them. Thanks.
Paulette
