Or you could just reinstall it.

Bill,

I think you should call GW support and get some help with this. UAC
should not be triggered by running window eyes.

have you looked at the UAC message carefully to make sure that it is the
window eyes program that it is referring to when it asks you for
permission? it could be some other program that is doing something at
startup, and you aren't seeing the UAC message until you get window eyes
going of course.

actually, if the UAC is for window eyes itself, you would not be able to
start window eyes until you had answered the UAC prompt, so if window
eyes is starting without you having to answer UAC, then the question
you're seeing is for some other program.

if you are having to answer the UAC prompt in order to start window
eyes, then you will need to call GW for tech support.

I have removed the change. I have deleted all desktop
shortcuts to WE in
any form, unfortunately still anytime I try to launch WE I
get the UAC.

Bill,

as I understood it, the "/k" was not meant to be added to the
WE desktop
shortcut, but is part of an alternate command for the kill wineyes
shortcut which is added to the desktop if you install the kill window
eyes script.

you should remove your change.
