Hello. It sounds as if your file extension associations might be messed
up. The Window-Eyes manual is a standard chm file which is a regular
windows help file. You might have to check what all programs you have
installed and remove any which might have changed your file associations.

When attempting to read the WE manual, there is no voice. Control-shift
T says picture and fax viewer. Several months ago, Realplayer was
updated also, and does that have something to do with it? I use WE 6.1
and XP. Have not tried to access the manual for quite a while, and I
was surprised at the finding. The picture and fax viewer interferes
elsewhere from time to time. Can it be eliminated?
