Hi Sue, there is just such a script; it's called "install packages", from Jamal Mazrui, which will check for updates to scripts for you when you want to check.
you'll need to set all your current scripts to not check for updates when WE starts up, after you install the "install packages" script. then, you just use it's hot keys to check for scripts you don't have, or to check for updates to scripts you do have. hth, Chip ------------------------------ Chip Orange Database Administrator Florida Public Service Commission [email protected] (850) 413-6314 (Any opinions expressed are solely those of the author and do not necessarily reflect those of the Florida Public Service Commission.) > -----Original Message----- > From: Sue Ward [mailto:[email protected]] > Sent: Thursday, May 07, 2009 9:12 AM > To: gw-info > Subject: WE crashes when scripts are updated. > > Hello I have had the same problem as well, had to reboot > several times, then an error report screen came up had to hit > the send button right a way, then when it was running install > the scripts that needed to be updated, however when I sent > the error report could not think of anything to put in the > error report, so I left it blank, and after everything was > updated had to go back to the window where the error report > screen was open, and find the close button, then I closed > everything.
