Curtis, to delete a bookmark in Firefox 3, try the following:
Press "Alt-B" to get to the "Bookmarks" section.
Press "down arrow" until you get to "Organize Bookmarks." Press "Enter."
(The shortcut key is "Control-shift-B.")
Press "down arrow" until Window-Eyes says "Bookmarks Menu;"then press
"right arrow" to opne the menu.
Press "Tab" until you get to the tree view listing all of your bookmarks.
Press "down arrow" until you hear the name of the bookmark you want to
delete, and press the "delete" key.

create a favorites folder on your desktop to the favorites folder
then all you have to do is open the folder and use normal windows
delete copy and paste commands to move links to new folders, rename
or delete the links you want. you won't have to fight the pull down
menu closeing all the time or haveing to use the mouse or context
