David,
We are not aware of this but if you have a document that exhibits
problems, please send them to me privately along with exact steps to
duplicate the issue. I am assuming you are using Window-Eyes 7.0 or 7.01.
Regards,
Doug

Hi, listers!
Just wondering, if it is only me, who have this trouble occuring. Or,
is it something about WE, maybe fixed in 7.1, when it comes out.
I have seen it in several cases. Sometimes my Braille display does NOT
display all the characters in a word. i.e, in the word 10gb the 0 will
sometimes be missing, and the Braille display reads 1gb. A bit of a
difference if your hard drive has 10gb, or 1gb space left, ain't it?
Also, I did check with the speech, and it reads 10gb no matter what
the Braille display decides to show up with. I am mainly using a
POwerBraille 80, but occasionally will be using a HandyTech Easy
Braille, display. The problem occurs on whichever of the two I am
using. I haven't found any good reason for it happening, and it is
rather inconsistently, happen one time, but not the next few times,
and then coming back.
In addition, I notice, that the last character of the line, may not
always be displayed on the Braille, even if the speech confirms that
it is on the screen.
I realize, that GW have preferred to have WE speaking, and that is
well enough. But the Braille function of WE should be more reliable
than this, shouldn't it?
Anyone have a feedback? OR, GW staff, is any of this looked into in
the 7.1?
Running Win-Eyes 7.01, xp pro sp3.
Thanks,
