Hi Gene, You can run Jaws and Window-Eyes on the same computer. You need to
have the right video card drivers for using we and jaws, or else it'll collide.
There is a quick start guide, and I don't know if we will read hidden files in
Word. I use both readers all the time.

Hello all,
I am a prospective WE user. I've used Jaws for years, but have been having
many problems at work which I won't go into. However, my employer has given me
the green light to test Window Eyes in my work environment. They will be
purchasing the 60-day trial.
I have 4 questions to get started:
1. Can I have Window Eyes and Jaws on the same PC? What do I need to do if
both can exist together?
2. Is there a Quick Start guide available? What do I need to know to get
started?
3. I do a lot of work with hidden text in Word. Can WE read hidden text if it
is turned on in Word. What about reading paragraph marks if those are also
turned on so that the characters display on screen?
4. How does WE handle reading braille DXB and BRF files in Duxbury?
Thanks for any pointers to get me started. I have no idea how quickly they
will move on this purchase, but I'm wanting to gether any info I can ahead of
time.
Thanks.
Jean
