Well, we are more people, in that wondering possition. I just got my new pc, and it has no such software installed, and I am wondering which one to choose. I know, that certain backup software pacakages, have the capability to produce a bootable CD/DVD, which will reinstall all your system. My old PC came with such a RESTORE CD set. It was quite convinient, as all you had to do, was to insert the first disk, and press a couple of keystrokes, and the whole hard drive, would be reinstalled. In about an hour, my system was back to fresh scratch.
Of course, sometimes you don't need to 'reset' your system all that much back, so how if you could make a restore DVD set, when your system is at a point of being all installed, and running stabile. Many times - though - you want only to backup certain files/folders. A search on the net, told me there is a few softwares that does feature this. Some even are able to synchronize your backup folders, so that whenever you make a change in your working folder, the change will be made in your backup as well - either right away, or at a sceduled time.
