Right now, our goal is to release 7.1 when it's ready. Going through a
public beta cycle will further increase the delay in getting a final
release out, and we don't want to do that. We already know there are
things that didn't make the 7.1 cut, and will go into the version post
7.1, so we're anxious to cut the cord (so to speak), and give this
things some legs.
