That's certainly an option. I'll try to add this to the UI in the next release for those who aren't comfortable modifying the code.

You can edit the hourly chime vbs file with notepad.
Open the script, search for minutes, and go down a few lines, when you
find the line that says

Speak Replace(myStrings("Next_Chime_In"), "%1", GetHourTimer)

Just put an apostrophe at the beginning of that line and save the file.
When the script is reloaded, you will no longer hear the
"next chime in xx minutes" message.
Hope this helps.

Subject: Hourly chime script

Is there any good reason for having this script tampering with the INS-T
function? When installed, this script will, upon pressing INS-T,
announce the time left til next chime. I never realized the benefit of
this feature. If it is 1:24, I am pleased to know that, but don't need
to know, that there is thirty-six minutes left till it will turn 2:00.
At least, if anyone wants to have that much info, why don't we have a
checkbox to turn on/off the 'left till next chime' part of the script?
