Hello all:
I think something has gone wrong with the set file that loads when F-7 is
pressed and the spell check runs in Word XP/2003.
In Outlook, when I run the spell check, the suspicious word is articulated and
spelled. Then, the first suggestion is spoken and spelled. This is exactly
the way I thought the spell check should work (and did work) in MS Word. It
would be useful also to be able to press a hot key to read the sentence in
which the erroneously spelled word was found.
Now, in MS Word, Window-Eyes doesn't read the suspicious word at all. Instead,
it reads the sentence where the erroneous word is located. If I press tab, I
can hear the first suggested replacement. So I can usually (but not always)
guess what word was spelled erroneously. Rather not guess.
Looking for suggestions here. Perhaps the way Window-Eyes handles spelling
errors in MS Word now is someone's idea of the right way to do things. I think
it is not and that I have somehow messed up the set file that loads with the
spell checker or have done something else likely as stupid.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Love the way spell check works in
Outlook.
All the best!
