Spybot S&D works well with WE. It even has a special mode, designed for
blindusers. I used it a lot, but found it was even easier, to make a batch
file, that I placed on my Desktop. Running it, would update, scan, and fix
everything automatically. In case, you want to use Spybot, and want the Batch
file, let me know, and I will check to see if I have it hanging around here
still. I have not installed Spybot on my new system. Be aware, that while
spybot is free, it is SLOW. Paid for solutions, might be able to scan the whole
of your system in five minutes; Spybot might use 3-5 hours. I tend to think,
that the software even slows down your system, a bit. On a modern system, this
won't affect your daily use, but if your system is from yester-years, it is
worth to consider. Of course, then again, spyware on your system, might slow it
down even more. One sugestion, could be to install Spybot, and only start/run
it, when you want a scan - i.e once a week, or so.

How well does Spybot work with Window-Eyes if at all? Is there something
better instead? Thanks, Doreen
