I was a McAfee friend for over 8 years, but I had to change to NOD32 when I
became blind. There is no chance to control McAfee with any of the available
screen readers.

Subject: WE & McAFee

My new desktop, arrived with the McAFee antivirus installed. I can't seem to
get it working with WE. Is it me, or is it because the whole McAfee software
is not accessible? Any Set file, or certain settings, that will help?

I find that not all text on the screens - from mcafee - is read out. Also,
it doesn't tell me whether a certain checkbox/radiobutton is chosen or not.
It blocks me from updating my Windows XP, and I find a palce where it says,
Mcrosoft updating is being blocked, but I can't see anyway to unblock this
feature in mcafee. I am just about to uninstall the whole mcafee thing, but
want to make sure if there is anything I could have done, to make it more
accessible. I have most of one year left on the subscription, paid for, as
part of the computer pricing, so I really don't want to throw it out, if
only that thing would have been possible for a blind user to run. Any
feedback will be greatly appriciated.
