This has been a long-standing problem with Browse Mode. One work around is to have another browse mode program active such as internet explorer. Alt-tab to Ie and turn browse mode off. Then alt-tab back to Outlook and see if you can turn browse mode back on with control-shift-A. Another thing you could try is get my BrowseModeStatus Script from script central, and use it to attempt turning browse mode off and on again. I say attempt, because I have only had limited success using my own script when browse mode gets messed up. The last alternative that I can suggest is to have Outlook display all of your messages in plain text. This, unfortunately, seems to be the most reliable option for now. Hope this helps, Jeff Weiss
