Hi all. Sounds like the flood gates are wide open, smile. Let's all look back as far back in the past as we can and remember just how far Windows and Window-eyes have come along.
I'll bet that those of you who use certain features to do their jobs have and will see progress as we go along. Certain tasks can be accomplished much better as Windows and Window-eyes have progressed. The browse mode feature being overhauled, the reduction in errors generated and other bug fixes will be resolved--perhaps maybe not today in some cases but eventually. One of the errors I was encountering has been eliminated with the removal of the window manager script and that is good to know. I can't wait to find out how well the script works in 7.1. Do I want Window-eyes 7.1 right now? Certainly I do. I've had Window-eyes since 3.0 and boy how things have improved and will continue to improve. I'll support GW Micro till the day I die, smile. I'm always hearing from nonusers that this or that screen reader is better. Give me GW Micro's tech support over many companies and they are one of the best for tech support. I guess my point is this. Those of you who depend on certain features of Window-eyes to do your jobs will see improvements over time I don't like a response from a company that a product will be ready when it's ready but look what happened when even a hint of a date was heard. I thought the sky was gonna fall, smile. Holy cow indeed, Don. I have been checking the Window-eyes update feature nearly every day, smile. I am so glad that the Window-eyes update site only counts the number of times the site is accessed when a new update becomes available. Believe me, I've accessed the update site more than one time to check for updates and I Keep up the good work at GW Micro! no longer feel intimidated when I access the site. . __________ Information from ESET NOD32 Antivirus, version of virus signature database 4112 (20090528) __________ The message was checked by ESET NOD32 Antivirus. http://www.eset.com If you reply to this message it will be delivered to the original sender only.
