Those are all terrific ideas and I'd love to see them myself. It really
boils down to whether or not someone that knows how to script and has
the time and inclination is willing to take on the task or not.

1. The user could set different behavior setings, for different
windows/screens?
2. A hotkey would quickly switch the 'reporting mode' of the script
between second interval, or percentage interval, which both could be
adjusted seperately in the scrip's setup menu.
Also, is it possible to implement the following feature:
Sometimes, you want to 'keep an eye' on a certain process, eventhough
you are doing other things on the computer. For instance, if your PC is
busy with a CD burning job, you want to do something on the internet,
meanwhile. Would be great, if the script could be 'locked' to keep an
eye on the burning process window, giving the beeps that indicate, the
progress bar's state, even if I am not focusing the Burning process
window. This LOCKING feature, could be only temporary, and have a hotkey
for turning it on. So, when you have a process you want to keep track
of, you would go to its window, hit a hotkey, and the 'keep an eye on
me' function, would be turned on. You can go on doing whatever you want
on your computer, having the progress bar script sounding the progress
sounds from the process being tracked. When that process is finished,
the 'keep an eye on me' function, is automatically turned off.
