Hi. Why is it even necessary to go to Google's site in Firefox? One of the
major reasons I primarily use Firefox is the ctrl-k key which brings up a
Google search edit box. It does not matter what page is open in FF, the search
edit box will come up. The ctrl-k has worked for me on all computers I've used
all the time without any of the auto complete hassels and other problems that
have been mentioned fromn time to time here. If there is a real reason to use
Google's site I'd be interested to learn about it but for me it's a bunch of
unnecessary steps to go to it.

  Subject: new firefox problem

  Hi all,

It has been a while since I have been on but I am having a problem with
Firefox 3.018. Here is an example. If I go to Google and try to find the edit
box to put a search in there is no edit box. I can get to the search button
and have to turn off MSAA and shift tab back to the edit field. I have the
current firefox set file and reinstalled it. If anyone can help I would
apriciate it.
  Walt
