Have you verified that window-eyes is allowed to communicate with the Skype API? If this communication is not enabled window-eyes will be unable to provide you with the information in question.
Please refer to the window-eyes script help for Skype . For more information on this procedure. I hope this helps! From: Steve Zielinski [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Monday, June 08, 2009 9:56 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Skype script and window eyes 7.01 I'm using the programs mentioned in the subject line, and a friend of mine is using the same arrangement. We are both using skype 3.8. However, in his case, when a person's status in skype changes, such as "away", "online" "unavailable", etc. changes, his speech announces the change automatically. Mine doesn't. There have been times when my setup will state, upon connection, phrases such as "connecting", "ringing", etc. and when I hang up, such messages as "call with so and so ended, time blah, blah minutes and seconds". When this does happen with me automatically, I still don't get the status messages mentioned above. My friend's setup always speaks these things. What should I do to have this work automaticaly for me? Why am I getting inconsistent automatic readings of the screen upon connections and disconnections from calls? Are some improvements coming in the skype scripts?
