I know, that the Top/Bottom message is placed on a single line, at the 
beginning/end of the message, to tell the user if he is at the very top/bottom 
of the message. OK, enough, even if I would have loved to supress these 
messages somehow, as they simplyy just bothers me. But what I at least would 
have loved to see is the following.

When reading message no 1, then deleting it with CTRL-D, the next message (no 
2), automatically shows up. Same if you only press CTRL-period. So far, so 
good. But my Braille display then ends up on the 'top' line, meaning I have to 
scroll it down one line, before I can start reading the actual text. Why, can't 
we have the display automatically be placed directly on the first line of the 
message, and only have the Braille display show 'top' if the user tries to go 
above the first line?
