Martin, Try turning off all scripts to see if that makes a difference. If it does, then perhaps there is a script that you are running that is adding to the delay. I have not noticed a delay on folders with as few as 24 messages, and I have not noticed a difference between versions. You might also try re-installing the factory sets in case something got messed up in your set files.
