Often, in Eudora, two IE windows open, one with the blank screen, the other with the url you want. Try alt-tabbing and see if it shows.

Dear Patrick and Everyone,

I went to the Programs section, in IE8, and I saw four programs listed, and Eudora was not one of them.

I can copy a URL into the Open Dialog window, and go there just fine, but when I press enter on any link, within an email within Eudora, it just says " Internet Explorer." That's all. I can arrow up and down, and Window-Eyes doesn't say anything.

Any help is greatly appreciated, please.

Thanks much.

It sounds like ie didn't recognize what you had set up. As an alternative go to tools then internet options then tab over to programs at that point hit enter. then you can check or uncheck what you want to to get things the way you want. At this point there is another set of tabs and you want to get to ok then hit the spacebar. That should do it if not let me know. 73- pat kk3f

Hi Everyone,

If I copy the url into the clipboard, and drop it on the address bar in IE I can go to any web site, thus far. It's just with links within an email that I can not activate with IE8.0

I was doing this fine with IE7. I'm not going back to IE7.0. <smile>

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

The first thing I would do in this situation, is I would ensure that brows
Mode is actually active.
if you find brows Mode is active when you enter the Internet explorer
window. Then attempt a screen refresh. this should force browse mode to
load the page into the Brows Mode buffer.
At the moment that is the only thing I can suggest

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for the suggestions. <smile>

I'm using Eudora 7.1.0.9.

Robert, I'm not going back to the unloving IE7 or the unloving IE6. lol.

When I hit enter on a link from within Eudora, It says connecting,
but then nothing else happends.

Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
