And do you think there is many users who have been driven crazy, by 'write
message'. I am sure there is, and wish there would be a fix for it. I just
can confirm that I see the same behavior here. Had a hope, that 7.1 would
have overcome the issue, but Oh, No!
If anyone have a good fix, please come out and let's have it!

I've been having this same issue since 7.0 and it can be quite annoying
when editing your email your about to send. I've tried everything you've
tried plus redrawing the screen that may or may not cause another problem.
at times when I have re drawn the screen the text seems to have
disappeared completely, and I've never figured out how to get window eyes
to read what disappeared. The text is there because once this happens,
you can tab to the send to field and send it to yourself and everything
is there once you've received it. One more thing, the more lines of text
you've written, the more you'll here write message.

Subject: Oddity going on when reading last line while composing email
Using outlook express 6, window eyes 7.01, internet explorer 8, xp service
pack 3
Sometimes while composing an email in outlook express, even with the
screen maximized, if I press the ctrl-numpad-center key to read current
line, if my cursor is on the last line of the text, I will hear the phrase
"write message", after the line is spoken. If the line is a blank last
line, then I just hear "write message". This also occurs if I press
ctrl-numpad-uparrow. When the reading is done, I hear "write message".
I just tested while composing this message. While the screen is
maximized, I'm not hearing this phrase. I normalized the screen, and I am
hearing it, maximized it again, and it's gone. However, there have been
times I've heard this message even with a maximized screen. I've moved
the physical mouse as well, and it didn't stop the ghost phrase either,
when it's there in the first place. I suspect the phrase is coming from
the read and write message graphics somehow bleeding through, but only a
guess.
I also notice that read to end will read the "write message" phrase at the
ends of some lines while in a normalized window. If I read line by line
with the down arrow the write message phrase will occur at the ends of the
same lines. However, if I up arrow right after reading lines that have
the write message phrase in them, the phrase is now gone, until I to hit
ctrl-home to get to the top of the screenn. Reading down will have the
phrases back in their places. Again this is with the normalized screen.
Note, now even with the screen maximized, I'm hearing the write message
phrase anyway. I wasn't at the start of this message.
Any ideas, fixes?
Steve
