I'm using outlook express 6 and recently installed internet explorer 8. Using WE 7.01, not the beta.
When I click on a link in outlook express, internet explorer 8 opens up but usually the browse mode doesn't come on. I have to manually turn it on to read the page. Sometimes it does come on though. However, if I click on a link within the page that is opened up, I always need to turn browse mode on manually. Clicking on the link does open the page, I confirmed this with the WE cursor, but I have to turn browse mode on to read it. This problem was occuring to some extent with window eyes 5 and internet explorer 6. But with my current configuration, it's become chronic. Interestingly, when I was using window eyes 7.01 and internet explorer 6, clicking on links within emails worked beautifully, all the time. Something hs changed since I moved to internet explorer 8. Is this being fixed in the beta? Anybody else seeing this? Is there something I'm doing wrong with IE 8 and the tab navigation, which I currently don't understand?
