thats normal for both o e and windows mail. the default is to show messages
in plain text. this is for your protection against malware and viruses in
the body of the messages.
but all you have to do in both is to open the tools\options pull down. go to
the read control tab and uncheck show messages in plain text then m s a a
will read the messages because they will be in html format. along with any
graphics and links that may have or download a virus or malware.

Is windows mail on Vista a new name for outlook express? Anyway, I had
this same problem some years back with OE, Once I click on a message, then
I must hit the tab key in order for wineyes to start reading the message.
Also, how do I get the contacts to open up when hitting the tab
key like in OE?
