with win mail i can do it. all i have to do is right arrow to the first few
letters of the link then press enter on them and they will activate.

If you have your email program to do messages in plain text, the links
won't work.
If this is the case, either select the text of the link and paste it
into the open command of your browser, or
Change OE back to reading messages in html.
