Michael, In my MS Word script, I have started to work on correcting or enhancing Word issues like the ones you mention.
the one with the font size is next on my list. I'll add the one with the spell checker to the list. Chip -----Original Message----- From: Michael Kuhlmann [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Saturday, June 20, 2009 7:57 AM To: [email protected] Subject: My observations on WE 7.1 Beta Hi all, I just downloaded and installed WE 7.1 Beta. I'm quite impressed, because in general it's much faster than the older versions. But I recognized three problems that obviously couldn't be fixed yet: 1. Wehn navigating the folders in outlook express WE is still quite slugish. 2. In MS-Word there is still a problem with the fondsize. When selecting a line in a document, for example a subject in a letter, the speech doesn't follow when changing the fondsize. It allways says: "Increase fondsize 12 Points", allthough the fondsize reaches 30 points or more. The element-properties-dialogue (insert-E) gives the same result. Only unselecting the line gives correct results. I think that's a bit confusing and should be fixed. 3. After writing a text and doing a spellcheck in MS-Word the focus doesn't follow. WE reads the whole line or text instead of focussing the underlined wrong words. That makes the spellcheck-option unusable, because I can't see the position of the mistake and if and in what way they are corrected. Can anybody duplicate this? My system: Windows xp Sp3 and MS Office 2003 both including all available patches and updates.
