The problem with Windows Mail is that it no longer supports Hotmail accounts.
And that's what I use. As for the new EE Beta, I won't be able to use it until
I get my new WE CD since I'm still running my Payment Plan copy. Hopefully that
won't be much longer in coming. Maybe I'll give WIndows Live Mail another try
if you're right about that, but again it didn't seem very accessible.

It ain't pretty when the pretty leaves you with no place to go.

The error you are getting with the Windows Live suite is solved with 7.1
beta 1. If you want something similar to OE try Windows Mail not
Windows Live Mail. This program is included with Vista.

Hi all,

Well I'm slowly beginning to get used to Windows VIsta. I have one
question however. I'm wondering if anyone can recommend an accessible
EMail program? When I was using XP on my old laptop I had Outlook
Express, which I found despite a lot of people's complaints about it to
be the most accessible program I'd ever used to manage my Email. But with
Vista Outlook Express seems to have been phased out. I tried WIndows Live
Mail but I've noticed that the latest version of the WIndows Live
software seems to be corrupted or damaged in some way. When you run it it
says something to the effect that Windows Live Communication Platform has
stopped working and that the program must close. Not only that but I
didn't find WIndows Live Mail to be all that comprehensible. So I'm
writing to the list to see if anyone can recommend a low-cost, easy to
use and WE friendly Email program. I don't like Microsoft Outlook, either
the 2003 version that I do own or the newest one that came installed as a
trial on my new Laptop. I'd apreciate any suggestions you can give me. I
really hate managing Emails on the Hotmail web site itself.
