Ted,

You're being asked for the original CDs used to install the office products
on your pc. hopefully you still have it somewhere; otherwise, any office CD
for the same version (2003) should do.

hth,

Chip

Subject: Updating Office

I upgraded to Window-Eyes 7.1 on my machine at work (Windows 2000) and on my
computer at home (Windows xp). Then, Window-Eyes told me that my office
products were not up-to-date for both machines. So, I started the process
for updating. Windows Installer told me I needed to insert the original
disc for these products. I encounter the same scenario on both machines for
Microsoft Word 2003 and Excel 2003. Can I get one disc that contains Word
2003 and Excel 2003 that will work for both Windows XP and Windows 2000?
If so, what is the name of the CD that I should look for and its approximate
cost? If I need to get separate discs for each machine, what products
should I look for and typically, how much do they cost? If I find a Word
2003 or Excel 2003 that is earlier than service pack 3, will Windows
installer bring it up to the latest level, or mustI still look for service
pack 3? Thanks. Regards: Ted Larson
