There may be things in this world that would scare me more than banking online, but frankly at the moment, I can't think of what they may be!

Perhaps quadruple bypass surgery performed with out anesthesia<grin>.

Using FF 3.5 and WE 7.1 and all is well. Why not get Firefox version 3.5 and see if that fixes your problem. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Larry Higgins" <[email protected]>

Well, what can I say? Firefox and the new 7.1 simply are not getting
along well at all here. I cannot get the cursor to catch up with the
arrow keys to save my life. At times it takes up to 10 seconds before
I can get any response at all. When it comes to read to end, I can
press ctrl-shift-r, and the cursor may move down as much as 11 or 12
lines before it even begins to speak at all. I just can't believe how
unresponsive WE is with firefox compared with the previous version of
the program. I am using Version 3.0.11 of Firefox. Guess I'm going to
have to start using IE again, and I really don't want to have to do
that, but this is ridiculous. I am using the default cursor settings.
I have tried upping both the cursor delay as well as the trigger
delay to no avail. My computer is a Pentium 4 with 3ghz, so processor
speed sure can't be the problem. I also have a gb of memory, so that
can't be the problem either. Really, if I can't hope to see any
improvement in performance with Firefox, it is time to switch back.
Up to now, I have enjoyed my relationship with Firefox, although it
admittedly hasn't been perfect, but as bad as it can be at times, it
never has been this bad.

OK, I think that is enough. If any of you fellow listers have any
suggestions as to how I can make Firefox and WE 7.1 work better
together, please let me hear from you.
