I've just had more inconsistent results but did make some changes today such as removed the Acer ScreenSaver, removed the ask.com toolbar and the Yahoo Toolbar and so now I'm receiving more reliable results but earlier I could only access the System Tray via the Insert-S hotkey. Not certain if any of these items are the culprit but I don't desire those in the first place.

Is this what you are referring to, or am I missing something? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ From: Amanda Lee [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Tuesday, July 07, 2009 3:27 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: Window-Eyes 7.1 no longer accessible to System Tray I'm not referring to WE being in the System Tray. I'm referring to accessing any app that is shown in the System Tray. Make sure the setting for having WE in the system tray didn't get changed when you updated. ----- Original Message ----- From: Amanda Lee To: [email protected] Sent: Tuesday, July 07, 2009 3:19 PM Subject: Window-Eyes 7.1 no longer accessible to System Tray I have noticed that between the release of Window-Eyes 7.01 and Window-Eyes 7.1, that one can no longer access the System Tray directly in Windows XP Home/don't know about Windows XP Professional as haven't tested this yet. Now it seems that one must use Ins-S and this surprises me as thought that this hotkey was to be phased out? Yes it's fine to have this hotkey available still but how is it that accessibility/functionality changed? In prior versions I could always navigate to the System Tray and arrow up or down and highlight the item desired, then either use the aplication key to access options related or press enter. This is an Acer Espire One Netbook: Atom Processor, Intel Mobile Adapter, 1Gig of RAM, 160Gig HD, Windows XP Home with all applicable updates & Patches.
