you can copy and paste the contents of the virtual view with shift f10 for
the context menu and use copy all. then paste it into any text editor that
supports graphics. word pad is the easiest because every windows user has
this one on there computer.

Ok. Let's take this problem a bit further.
Yes, The virtual view script fixes things as things, such as a file in
TextPal, reads by character.
However, the virtual view script does not allow one to edit the contents
of a file being read.
Hence, with a program such as Textpal, this isn't all that satisfactory.
Anyone with a work around under than WE itself being fixed, Jamal
reworking TextPal, or going back to 7.01?
